Once again, the UTL series is a sealed, plastic connector range designed to meet UL and IEC safety standards. The stainless steel latch coupling system makes it simple to use and provides a quick and reliable mating solution which reduces time and labor during installation. With the use of one thumb, the connector latch is pressed to easily mate or un-mate the plug and receptacle. When the connectors are mated, an audible click can be heard confirming proper mating, and eliminates any uncertainty of not having achieved mated condition. In addition, the key shape of the coupling system makes it blind-mateable. In dark conditions, the color and mechanical discriminations also help to mate without damaging the pins or connectors. Last, but not least, the UTL series can sustain up to 500 mating cycles.
