The UTL connector series is operational from -40°C to +105°C. Cable assemblies perform at an operational temperature of -40°C to +90°C using SJOOW cable. Since it is assembled with a plastic housing and stainless steel latch, any corrosion is minimal and has been tested to a salt spray resistance of ≥1000 hours. The UTL series is manufactured with a special UV-resistant thermoplastic F1 rated material per UL 746C. This UV resistance prevents material degradation or significant color variation when exposed to harsh environments. UTL is completely waterproof and rated IP68/69K dynamic in mated condition with the use of standard crimp contacts. Dynamic conditions include remaining sealed when used continuously underwater or when cleaned with high pressure hose while cable assembly is moving. The product achieves IP68 unmated when sealed machined contacts are used. Exposure to fluids such as gas, petroleum oil, mineral oil, acid, and basic bath elements typical in indoor and outdoor industrial elements have no influence on the UTL series.
