Kingston can provide vendor commands to directly access the eMMC device health state without having to remove the device. These commands provide greater precision than the JEDEC lifetime estimate fields. Using these commands will require some software development. In the Linux environment, the MMC-Util tools can be downloaded to ease device level access. These vendor commands are provided under by Kingston NDA.
