One other field worth mentioning in the Extended Card Specific Data register it is the pre-EOL field at byte location 267 of the extended CSD register. This field reports the state of spare blocks. Usually, a device will be well past the endurance limit before running out of spare blocks. However, it can be helpful to monitor this register field in addition to the lifetime estimate fields.
