Now that a full overview of mPPE and its features and benefits has been provided, the presentation will review the EcoGen™ product line offered by AlphaWire with the proprietary mPPE insulations and jackets. All EcoGen™ products contain no halogens, phthalates or heavy metals, and as discussed earlier, their innovative mPPE insulation and jacket materials allow them to meet REACH, RoHS and WEEE requirements for the elimination of hazardous substances and recyclability. EcoWire® was introduced in 2009 and has been one of the fastest growing new products in the history of AlphaWire. EcoWire® is a hook up wire with mPPE insulation that is up to 45% smaller and 40% lighter than comparable PVC hook-up wire. EcoWire® has been used across multiple industries in a wide variety of applications ranging from internal amplifier wiring to LED lighting fixtures. EcoWire® Plus is an extension of the EcoWire® product line and offers the added benefits of resistance to oils and other hazardous fluids. Meeting the fluid resistance of ISO 6722 for thin-wall and ultra-thin wall wire, EcoWire® is an ideal thin wall replacement for XLPE insulated wire. The latest additions to the EcoGen™ line of eco-friendly products are EcoCable® and EcoFlex™, introduced in January 2013. By combining better performance and minimal environmental impact, EcoCable® uses its mPPE insulation and jacketing to provide all of the advantages in a smaller, lighter control cable. EcoCable® is up to 47% smaller and 65% lighter than traditional PVC Control cable. EcoCable® is also available in lengths as short as 100’ and comes in 130 standard constructions. EcoFlex™ is a more flexible version of AlphaWire’s standard EcoCable® multi-conductor control cables. It is rated for use in flexing applications of up to 1 million flex cycles and offers all of the same size and weight benefits when compared to traditional PVC flex cables.
