Demo Kit
NXP has developed the OM13285 demonstration kit, which includes a Stepper Motor board with two sensors and the Stepper Motor Demo Board with a number of pre-defined functions. The parameters used by these functions can be easily updated by changing a configuration header file. The PCA9629 Demo Board is designed for easy set up and ease of operation. The pre-defined functions are executed by pressing a control push button located on the demo board. Some of the features of the PCA9629 demo board are: programmable I2C address selection, optional MOSFET with Schottky diode or Darlington sink Driver, access to all PCA9629 I/O including the ability to isolate any or all device pins, test point access to monitor many on-board signals, flexibility to use external controller with on-board drive, on-board +5 V and +3.3 V regulators that allows the board to be powered with a +12 V supply, flexible re-programmable firmware that can be updated via a USB port or an RS-232 port.
