RPM Systems Corp's MPQ programmer family is intended for production in-circuit programming of popular microcontroller families, including Microchip AVR®, Cypress PSoC®, and SiLabs 80C51 and BusyBee. They can be configured to support from 4 to 64 devices in parallel and operate under PC software control or stand-alone controlled by a pushbutton or ATE.

MPQ programmers offer a variety of advanced features, including programmable image readback protection and image impression limits for use by external CM facilities.

The MPQ programmers are intended for in-circuit production programming of microcontroller devices from dozens to thousands of parts per day. Each MPQ is targeted for a specific set of device families. MPQ-AVR, for instance, is targeted for Microchip (Atmel) AVR devices, including ATmega, ATxmega, ATtiny, ATA, and AT90 devices

Features

Each MPQ programs up to four devices in parallel
Multiple MPQs can be deployed in arrays to program up to 64 devices in parallel
Up to four user images can be permanently stored in MPQ on-board Flash memory
On-the-fly image modification allows each device to be programmed with a unique serial number, MAC address, IP address, and more

Secure image management prevents image data from being read back from the programmer and allows a maximum number of impressions to be set for each image if desired for CM deployment
Flexible deployment options support PC software-controlled or stand-alone programming operations
