CNC Series: Low Resistance Soft Termination MLCC | Datasheet Preview

These low resistance, soft termination CNC series capacitors use a unique termination construction by applying the conductive soft resin material to only the bottom side of the capacitor. This design approach significantly improves the capacitor’s electrical performance by allowing for lower parasitic resistance and inductance while also maintaining the same mechanical performance of conventional capacitors, such as minimizing cracking caused by board flex and board vibrations. Other benefits of using these capacitors include their resistance to thermal shock and low heat generation. These CNC series capacitors are ideal for any application where extensive board flex may occur, such as mobile equipment, fail-safe design in battery lines, power delivery, and others.
