BRHL Inductors

TAIYO YUDEN's BRHL2518 inductors (2.5 x 1.8 mm and 1.5 mm max. height) reduce volume by approximately 65 percent and enhance DC-DC converter efficiency by about five percent compared to their CBC3225T2R2M series. The use of single-sided electrode terminals, optimum core design, and the prevention of increased DC resistance through a reduced size all contribute to the BRHL efficiency.

The BRHL2518 features a low DCR range from 0.055 - 0.245 Ω. Saturation current ranges from 2000 - 1100 mA and inductance ranges from 1.0-4.7 µH. Operating temperature is specified at a range of -25°C to 105°C. It is designed to improve energy efficiency in digital devices including mobile devices, compact digital equipment, digital cameras, and portable music players.
