This expansion card combines Silicon Labs’ powerful isolation technology with an energy-friendly 32-bit MCU on a single development and evaluation platform, simplifying CAN solution development.

The board schematics are available and there are examples that can be run on the EFM32 Giant Gecko GG11 Starter Kit to communicate via isolated CAN. The kit contains one digital isolator, two CAN transceivers, a 20-pin breakout header for easy connection, many headers for debugging and evaluation, and screw terminals for the physical CAN bus.
