Intrinsically Safe Digital Pressure Gauges

Absolute Process Instruments, Inc manufactures Cecomp intrinsically safe digital pressure gauges which are ideal for use in hazardous locations. The DPG2000BBL-D4 series of gauges are factory mutual (FM) approved in the USA and Canada for Class I, Division 1, Groups A, B, C, and D locations. Popular applications include natural gas system pressure measurements for gas utilities, tire and strut pressures on commercial aircraft, and any other applicable hazardous locations.

The battery-powered gauges include features for increased stability and pressure ranges from vacuum to 5,000 PSI are available. Standard accuracy is 0.25% and 0.1% accuracy is available by ordering the HA (high-accuracy) option. Engineering units and other features are user-selectable. The single button DPG2000BBL-D4 offers enhanced tamper resistance by using internal buttons for configuration. The DPG2000BBL-D4-M2 series has a three-button keypad for ease of use. Both series feature passcode protection for setup and calibration.

The minimum and maximum memory is fully user-configurable. The backlit 4-digit display ensures readability even in poor lighting. The datasheet includes a table of engineering units available for each pressure range and comprehensive instructions for setup and calibration. A protective rubber boot is available for purchase and highly recommended. A NIST certificate is available at an additional cost.
