This New Product Discovery covers two new boards that have innovative and time-saving features: The Grove AI Hat for Edge Computing from Seeed and the TMC2590 Breakout Board from Trinamic.

Seeed’s Artificial Intelligence Hat is a powerful board for use with Raspberry Pi that can assist with edge computing applications. This board supports functionality with Arduino IDE, Linux, Windows, Mac OS X, and other development environments, and runs on a Sipeed MAix M1 AI Module. Peripherals such as I²C, UART, PWM, and others can be used.

Trinamic’s TMC2590-BOB40 Breakout Board uses the TMC2590-TA high-power gate driver for use with stepper motors. This driver includes patented features that allow users to rapidly prototype their applications and get immediate feedback on motor performance such as:
