The HMC utilizes high resistance value films and high speed thick film processes to provide a resistor with a very high resistance value, at low cost. The HMC is an ideal choice for applications requiring high resistance values and low cost where tight tolerance and low TCRs are less important. Those applications include voltage dividers for power supplies, green energy, gas detection, power supplies, and lighting applications.
