E2A Series Proximity Sensors

E2A series of cylindrical proximity sensors have a sensing distance of up to 30 mm

Image of Omron Automation and Safety's E2A Series Proximity SensorsOmron's E2A series of long distance Proximity sensors ensures a sensing distance that is 1.5 to 2 times greater than that of most industry sensors. Problems such as work piece collisions or impacts on the sensor are eliminated. These sensors are offered in all standard sizes (M8, M12, M18 and M30) in both long and short brass barrels, and in both normally open and normally closed output modes.

  • Circuit protection: power source reverse polarity, output reverse polarity (except M8 size), surge suppressor, short-circuit
  • Stainless steel or Nickel-Plated brass body
  • Voltage range: 12 to 24 VDC
  • Load rating: 200 mA at 32 VDC maximum, 100 mA maximum below -25 °C
  • Current consumption: 10 mA maximum
  • Differential travel: 10% maximum of sensing distance
  • Operating ambient: -40 to +70 °C, 35% to 95% RH
