Students age 18 and older who are planning to pursue a degree in the Electronics Technology-Automated Systems Program at the Northland Community and Technical College Thief River Falls campus are eligible to apply. Those selected will have the opportunity to work part-time at Digi-Key while at NCTC, and full-time in technical positions after graduating from NCTC, receiving cost reimbursement for up to fifty percent of their educational expenses. Technical Scholarship Program Positions
Applications Engineering Technicians work with customers ranging from hobbyists to engineers at the world’s top high technology companies, assisting them with navigation of technical content, cross referencing, component guide selection and more.
Upon acceptance into the Technical Scholarship Program, participants will receive Product Distribution Center (PDC) training during the summer before the 2017-2018 school year. Participants will work approximately 20 hours per week in the PDC while attending NCTC classes during their first year. During the summer between the first and second school year, participants will be trained in the inbound sales area, where they will continue to work until the completion of the program.
Participants who successfully complete their degrees and the requirements of the scholarship program will be eligible for full-time technical positions at Digi-Key. These positions will provide participants with competitive rates of pay and Digi-Key’s comprehensive benefits program.
Students age 18 and older who are planning to pursue a business-related or other general degree at the Northland Community and Technical College Thief River Falls campus are eligible to apply. Those selected will have the opportunity to work part-time at Digi-Key as a sales intern, receiving cost reimbursement for up to fifty percent of their educational expenses.

Sales Scholarship Program Positions
At Digi-Key, our sales team provides the best personalized customer service in the industry. As an inbound sales employee, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including responding to inbound phone calls, processing orders, and providing information to customers via phone, fax, email, and web chat.
Upon acceptance into the Sales Scholarship Program, participants will receive six weeks of inbound sales training at Digi-Key beginning in June before the 2017-2018 academic year.
Participants who successfully complete their degrees and the requirements of the scholarship program will be eligible for full-time sales positions at Digi-Key. These positions will provide participants with competitive rates of pay and Digi-Key’s comprehensive benefits program.

Applicants must be:
- College students, 18 years of age and older
- Enrolled as full-time, incoming students at NCTC (TRF location) this fall
While enrolled in the scholarship program, participants must maintain a required grade-point-average (GPA) per semester to be eligible for tuition reimbursement. Participants must also agree to work part-time at Digi-Key while enrolled in the program, maintain satisfactory performance and follow all applicable company policies.
