How can I apply for a job?

First, we are excited you are interested in applying!

Here are a few things to keep in mind when looking to join us.

  • Ensure you meet ALL of the minimum qualifications and MOST, if not ALL, of the preferred qualifications for your desired position.
  • Click on the “Apply Now” button and search for a position of interest. Complete the application process by uploading a current resume if available or filling out the application and answering the profile questions.
  • Review your application completely prior to submitting.

What happens to my application/resume once it is received? / What’s the status of my application?

Once you’ve applied, you’ll receive an automated email confirming your submission; (note: if you don’t see this email, be sure to check your "junk mail" folder!). Please know that some opportunities with Digi-Key Electronics get a very high volume of applicants so the selection process may take some time. Individuals who are selected and have best met ALL of the basic requirements of a position, and most of the preferred qualifications, may receive a pre-screening phone interview with a Talent Acquisition Specialist. If at any time you are no longer being considered for a position, we’ll send you an email to let you know. What is the starting salary for the position I’m interested in?

Once you have applied for the position, as part of the screening process, based on the position as well as your qualifications and skills, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be able to share more information related to salary or hourly wage.

What can I expect if chosen for an on-site interview?

You will be invited on-site to Digi-Key and take part in an interview process that may include generalized and job specific testing. Depending on the position for which you are interviewing, you can expect to be on-site anywhere from 1 hour – 4 hours. You can discuss the specific allotted timeframe with the Talent Acquisition Team Member setting up your interview.

What can I do to improve my resume?

A few quick suggestions are:

Format your resume for the position you are applying to. Read the job description first and locate keywords that are relevant to you based on the required skills and experience. Add those same keywords to your resume to highlight your qualifications. Be sure to also go through each responsibility for the role and ensure you proactively address those responsibilities on your resume.

Do you offer relocation assistance?

Yes, for entry level full-time positions we offer a taxable $850 allowance. For Professional level opportunities, please contact a Talent Acquisition Specialist at 218-681-7930.
