ARTIK 05x
The ARTIK 05x series is a Wi-Fi based IoT module for things that need compactness and connectivity, along with hardware-based security. ARTIK 053s and ARTIK 055s have built-in, enterprise-grade security modules that keeps its factory-installed certificates and keys safe with Samsung Key Infrastructure (PKI) and mutual authentication to ARTIK cloud services.
Each Samsung ARTIK IoT module is a true System on Module (SoM), with networking, wireless radios, CPUs, and full system software stack, built onto an easy-to-integrate package.
The ARTIK 05x family runs Tizen RT, a platform that includes a compact RTOS with built-in TCP/IP stack and support for Lightweight Machine-to-machine (LWM2M) protocol. This also means you can develop for ARTIK 05x using free tools like ARTIK IDE, GCC C/C++ compilers, and OpenOCD.

ARTIK 020
The ARTIK 020 is a Bluetooth® Module for low energy applications and is perfect for applications requiring short to medium range connectivity. The ARTIK 020 integrates all of the necessary elements required for a Bluetooth application: Bluetooth low energy radio, a software stack, and GATT-based profiles, and it can also host end user applications, which means no external microcontroller is required in size, price or power constrained devices. The ARTIK 020 Bluetooth Module also has highly flexible hardware interfaces to connect to different peripherals or sensors.

ARTIK 530/530s and 520
Samsung’s ARTIK™ 520 and 530 Module is a highly integrated System-on-Module. ARTIK 520 utilizes a dual-core ARM® Cortex®-A7 processor. ARTIK 530 uses a dual-core ARM® Cortex®-A9 processor. Both modules have packaged DRAM and Flash memories, a Secure Element and a wide range of wireless communication options such as 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and 802.15.4/ZigBee/Thread communications all into a 30 x 25 mm footprint.
Samsung’s 530s module adds a built-in, enterprise-grade security module that keeps its factory-installed certificates and keys safe with Samsung Key Infrastructure (PKI) and mutual authentication to ARTIK cloud services.
The ARTIK 530/530s have a Quad core processor for local data processing and a multimedia engine to handle video and audio processing.
The many standard digital control interfaces support external sensors and higher performance peripherals to expand the module capabilities. With the combination of Wi-Fi and ZigBee, the ARTIK 520 and 530/530s is the perfect choice for home automation and home hub devices, while also supporting a rich UI/UX capability with the camera and display options. The hardware-based Secure Element works with the ARM® TrustZone® and Trustonic’s Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) to provide “bank level” security end-to-end.
