The MCP33131 16-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) features a full differential input, high performance, and low power consumption in a small package, making it ideal for battery-powered systems and remote data acquisition applications. The MCP33131 features a successive approximation register (SAR) architecture and an industry-standard SPI serial interface, allowing 16-bit ADC capability to be added to any PIC® microcontroller. The MCP33131 features1M samples/second, 1 input channel, low power consumption (0.8 µA typical standby, 1.6 mA typical active), and is available in 10-pin MSOP. Applications for the MCP33131 include high-precision data acquisition, medical instrumentation, motor control applications, battery-operated applications, and switch-mode power supply applications.

MCP355X Family

MCP355X

The MCP355X devices are 2.7 V to 5.5 V low-power, 22-bit delta-sigma A/D converters. The devices offer output noise as low as 2.5 µVrms with a total unadjusted error of less than 10 ppm. The family exhibits less than 6 ppm integral non-linearity (INL) error, 3 µV offset error, and 2 ppm full scale error. The MCP355X devices provide high accuracy and low noise performance for applications where sensor measurements such as pressure, temperature and humidity are performed. With the internal oscillator and high oversampling rate, minimal external components are required for high accuracy applications. The fully differential analog inputs make it compatible with a wide variety of sensor and measurement applications. The MCP355X devices operate from -40°C to +125°C and are available in the space-saving 8-pin MSOP and SOIC packages.

MCP1501

MCP1501

The MCP1501 is a high-precision buffered voltage reference with an initial accuracy of 0.10% and is available in eight voltage options. The MCP1501 is a low-drift bandgap-based reference and uses chopper-based amplifiers which significantly reduces the drift and provides high current output.  The MCP1501 is available in a very small 2 x 2 WDFN package, as well as the SOT-23 and SOIC packages.
