Exceptional accuracy of ±1 ppm at room temperature eliminates any calibration during manufacturing. The miniature SMD ceramic package (3.2 mm x 1.5 mm x 0.8 mm) includes the 32.768 kHz quartz crystal as part of a hermetically sealed module. The extreme low power consumption combined with the integrated battery back-up switch with trickle charger allows using multi-layer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) and supercaps to provide extended back‐up time. Together with an event detection input, it features all the prerequisites for wearables, medical healthcare, and other power sensitive IoT applications.
