It is powered from an external 5 V wall transformer (included), can be easily mounted to a wall, can handle up to 150 Whisker.io devices, and communicates to the Internet via Ethernet. No special configuration of on-sight equipment is required as long as the required ports are opened.

A Whisker.io Gateway™ connects various Whisker.io devices to the Internet, allowing them to be monitored, managed, and controlled remotely. The commercial gateway is suitable for indoor use, communicates with the Internet via a built-in cellular modem, and can support up to 150 devices. The gateway is powered using the included 5 V wall transformer.

The commercial gateway is 4" x 3" x 2", and can be mounted using recessed screw mounting holes and the included wall anchor kit. For best operation, the gateway should be mounted central to the devices being monitored and should be mounted as high as possible, preferably 10-15 feet from the ground.
