CTS’s VF901723 TCXO is specifically designed to provide ultra-low noise figure applicable for QAM 256, 1024, and 2048 low EVM requirements specified by 3 GPP. It utilizes a proprietary noise filtering and frequency synthesis technology allowing phase noise performance reaching -176dBc/Hz at 100 kHz. It offers a duty cycle with ±1% tolerance over temp as well as reference stability of <280 ppb over -40°C to +85°C. In cases where higher reference frequency source is needed, VF901723's technology allows frequency offering up to 500 MHz with very low phase noise performance and similar stability attributes. As an example, at 100 MHz oscillation frequency, this platform can generate a signal with the noise floor reaching -174 dBc/Hz at 100 K offset.
