These push/pull, high voltage isolation transformers are driven with 3.3 V to 5 V input and deliver 3.3 V to 15 V up to 350 mA, configured in various turns ratio in a compact size.

The transformers are designed to support isolated interface power for CAN, RS-485, RS-422, RS-232, SPI, I²C, and lower-power LAN in a range of applications such as automotive electronics (BMS, powertrain DC/DC and inverters, communications: CAN, and RS-485), industry 4.0 and medical (sensors, communication PHYs, RS-485, and metering), circuits requiring low DC power (3.3 V to 15 V at 350 mA max), and any application that requires isolation from potentially hazardous voltages (e.g. from a HV battery).

The HCTSM80 series is built with a ferrite toroid core for high coupling factor and efficiency. The reinforced isolation, 8 mm minimum clearance/creepage distance, 5 kV withstanding voltage provide elevated degree of isolation from high-voltage hazard.

The transformers are designed for isolation power suppliers using Texas Instruments' SN6501 and SN6505B, compliant with IEC 60950-1, IEC 62368-1, IEC 60664-1, and automotive AEC-Q200.
