Microchip AC164144The AC164144 Low Cost Controllerless (LCC) Graphics PICtail™ Plus Daughter Board from Microchip Technology features controllerless graphics support for 4/8-bit STN, 4/8-bit CSTN, 18-bit HR-TFT and 9/12/18/24-bit TFT interfaces.  Additionally, this boards offers 16 Megabit (2 Mb x 8) serial Flash memory for additional data storage, a display connector for interfacing with different display boards, PICtail™ Plus interface for connecting to Explorer 16 Development Board and the Starter Kit connector.

Microchip DV164039The DV164039 from Microchip Technology is the complete development kit for the PIC24FJ256DA210 microcontroller.  This MCU comes with a 16-bit core along with integrated graphics controller, as well as a wide range of peripherals.  The included graphics controller is capable of running TFT, MSTN and CSTN display panels with resolution of up to QVGA (320x240) or WQVGA (480x272) at color depths of 16 bits per pixel (bpp), and VGA (640x480) running at 8 bpp.  QVGA resolution can be run with the MCUs internal 96 Kbyte of RAM at 8 bpp.
