 Based on a M8C 8-Bit CPU core, Cypress Semiconductor’s PSoC (Programmable System on a Chip) microcontroller offers a very unique and configurable approach to embedded designs. The devices include up to 16 digital and 12 analog blocks, as well as configurable routing and interconnect networks. These blocks allow designers to create and quickly change advanced mixed-signal embedded applications. In addition to this flexibility, any signal can be routed to any pin on the MCU package.
