A "Supplier Specific" core refers to a type of MCU core that is designed by a specific manufacturer, and has a unique architecture. These are in contrast to "ARM", "MIPS", or "8051" cores which are available from multiple suppliers. Evaluation and demonstration tools, as well as software are all MCU core and manufacturer specific.
