ROHM's PMR resistor series designed for current detection applications


ROHM’s PMR Series of ultra-low ohmic chip resistors are designed for current detection applications and feature a proprietary structure for lower inductance and excellent resistance-temperature characteristics. The result is stable operation, superior heat dissipation, and accurate current detection. These resistors are ideal for a wide variety of applications, including consumer and automotive systems.

A special metallic alloy is used for the resistive element, which ensures a superior resistance temperature characteristic of ±150ppm/°C. The unique chip structure of the resistors in the PMR Series minimizes thermal stress during temperature cycling, resulting in greater reliability. Additionally, the trimless design significantly improves current detection, making the resistors ideal for large current fast switching circuits.
