Pulse common-mode chokes are widely used as suppression elements against common-mode noise. Especially in high-speed differential signal applications, common-mode chokes have significant positive effects on system performance. These devices stop common-mode noise effectively without influencing the signal waveform. This has led to an optimization process in manufacturing these chokes with the result of a very low differential (leakage) inductance. Pulse common mode chokes can meet those needs in a wide range of SMD packages at an operating temperature range of -40°C to 120°C with a dielectric strength of 1000VRMS.
