National Semiconductor's LM3000 is a dual output synchronous ECM buck controller that converts inputs ranging from 3.3V to 18.5V down to outputs as low as 0.6V. The two output switches run at a constant programmable frequency of 200kHz to 1.5MHz with the second output 180° out of phase from the first to minimize the input filter requirements. A CLKOUT provides an external clock signal that is 90° out of phase with the main system clock. This allows the use of two LM3000s providing up to four multi-phased outputs.      LM3000 Datasheet
