have a friend who has a Butterfly Garden and wants to monitor them emerging from their Chrysalises. So we would need a very sensitive sensor that will be able to detect the vibrations/motion of the tiny butterflies. We dont want anything too complicated or expensive. Just a simple warning system. Anyone have any ideas?
Well I assume that the baby Butterflies would be very fragile as they crawl out of their chrysallis, so I would suggest a non contact vibration sensor such as a Laser Doppler Vibrometer. It is a bit expensive, but are very sensitive.
