Amplify High Frequency Signal

I'm trying to do something a little outside of my normal sphere of interests.  I've got a high frequency signal, 30Mhz, that I'm trying to amplify.  If possible, I'd like to bump it up about tenfold, from the 1-2 volt range to the 10-20 volt range.  If I remember correctly, for voltage, an increase of 20dB is the same as 10x. 


Are there amplifiers out there that could handle this?  I'm assuming that I won't have to make something out of discrete components.  If so, where would I start looking to figure it out?

    Assuming you mean 20 volts P-P, a 1 watt RF amp will do the job. Your amp needs these specs:


    30 MHz +/-

    Gain >20 dB

    Power > 30 dBm


    Mini-circuits stocks these and the ZHL-1-2W is suitable covering 5-500 MHz with a gain of 29 dB and a maximum output power of 33 dBm. The prices is $475.


    Of course you can build your own amplifier at this power level.
