NPT40-M SeriesNPT40-M Series - Emerson's NPT40-M series of open-frame AC-DC power supplies features both ITE and medical safety approvals. All models have triple output voltages in a compact open-frame design, measuring just 2 inches x 4 inches, with a height of only 1 inch. Emerson Network Power is part of the global technology company, Emerson (NYSE:EMR). Its embedded power business is one of the world’s largest and most successful power supply companies. It embraces the Astec and Artesyn brand names, employs some 27,000 people - including 1,300 professional engineers - and is active in every major country. As a market leader in ac-dc power supplies, Emerson Network Power‘s standard product portfolio is especially extensive. Covering a power range of 25 watts to 5 kilowatts, it includes open-frame and enclosed models, highly configurable modular power supplies, rack-mounting bulk power units, DIN rail power supplies and external power adapters. Many of these products are available in medically approved versions, and a large number of the higher power models feature extensive built-in intelligence. The highest power modules can be used to configure bulk power systems with up to 18 kilowatts output capability.

Widely acknowledged as an industry leader in Distributed Power applications, Emerson Network Power produces an exceptionally wide range of dc-dc power conversion products. These include isolated dc-dc converters, covering industry-standard sixteenth- to full-brick form factors and power ratings from 3 watts to 700 watts, Intermediate Bus Converters (IBCs) with current outputs as high as 60 A, and five application-optimized families of non-isolated dc-dc converters. The company also produces non-isolated memory power and voltage regulator modules (VRMs) for processors, as well as a series of special 300 V input high power dc-dc converters and power conditioning modules.

In an effort to offer further flexibility and control, Emerson has introduced an innovative line of configurable power supplies that enable design engineers the luxury of tailoring the power supply to their implementation, rather than settling for whatever is available.

The iMP, iVS, and uMP lines of configurable power supplies offer a myriad of choices regarding wattage, case size, and number of slots. Wattages range from 400 W up to as high as 4920 W output capability.

The MP series of modular ac-dc power supplies enable customers to configure power supplies with up to 1,200 watts output capability.
