PI2003

The PI2003 Cool-ORing® solution is a universal highspeed Active ORing controller IC designed for use with N-channel MOSFETs and is optimized for -48V redundant power system architectures. The PI2003 Cool-ORing controller enables an extremely low power loss solution with fast dynamic response to input power fault conditions, critical for high availability systems. The PI2003 controls single or parallel MOSFETs to address Active ORing applications protecting against power source failures. The PI2003 is optimized for -48V low-side Active ORing applications. An internal VC shunt regulator enables biasing of the controller directly from -48V (GND).

PI2007

The PI2007 Cool-ORing® solution is a universal high-speed Active ORing controller IC designed for use with N-channel MOSFETs in redundant power system architectures. The PI2007 Cool-ORing controller enables an extremely low power loss solution with fast dynamic response to fault conditions, critical for high availability systems. The PI2007 controls single or parallel MOSFETs to address Active ORing applications protecting against power source failures. The PI2007 has an internal charge pump enabling an ideal solution in 12 V or 36–75 V bus high-side Active ORing applications.

PI2126

The PI2126 is a complete full-function Active ORing solution with a high-speed ORing MOSFET controller and a very low on-state resistance MOSFET designed for use in 12V Bus redundant power system architectures. The PI2126 Cool-ORing solution is offered in an extremely small, thermally enhanced 5mm x 7mm LGA package and can be used in high side Active ORing applications. The PI2126 enables extremely low power loss with fast dynamic response to fault conditions, critical for high availability systems. With its 4.5mΩ internal MOSFET, the PI2126 provides very high efficiency and low power loss during steady state operation. The PI2126 monitors the current direction in the MOSFET and will respond very fast to a reverse current due to input power source fault condition to prevent undesired high current build-up in the system. The PI2126 provides an active low fault flag output to the system during reverse current, excessive forward over-current and UVLO fault conditions.

PI2127

The PI2127 Cool-ORing® is a complete full-function Active ORing solution with a high-speed ORing MOSFET controller and a very low on-state resistance MOSFET designed for use in redundant power system architectures. The PI2127 Cool-ORing solution is offered in an extremely small, thermally enhanced 7mm x 8mm LGA package and can be used in high side, medium voltage Active ORing applications. The PI2127 enables extremely low power loss with fast dynamic response to fault conditions, critical for high availability systems. With its 8.5mΩ internal MOSFET, the PI2127 provides very high efficiency and low power loss during steady state operation, while achieving highspeed turn-off of the internal MOSFET during input power source fault conditions that cause reverse current flow. The PI2127 provides an active low fault flag output to the system during reverse current, excessive forward over-current and UVLO fault conditions.
