STMicroelectronics new TSX family of 16V amplifiers combine high performance and high reliability making them well suited for a variety of demanding applications.
An innovative 16V CMOS manufacturing process delivers reduced power consumption, class leading accuracy with long term stability, and enables reduced PCB area by allowing the use of small surface-mount packages. The combination of features along with STMicroelectronics commitment to quality and reliability makes these devices an ideal signal conditioning solution for rugged applications from automotive electronics to smart buildings and industrial controls.
Three unique TSX series are currently available and optimized to support your exact signal conditioning needs. The TSX56x series provides a balance of low power consumption and gain bandwidth making it a perfect fit for many general purpose signal conditioning needs. The TSX63 series is designed for the lower bandwidth, lowest power requirements to support most battery or solar powered signal conditioning needs. The TSX9 series covers wide bandwidth and high gain applications such as low-side current sensing and can support up to 16MHz.
The TSX9 series of amplifiers covers wide bandwidth and high gain applications such as low-side current sensing and can support up to 16MHz. The TSX921/TSX9291 single amplifiers offer excellent AC characteristics, respectively 10 and 16 MHz gain bandwidth and 0.0003 % THD+N. These features make the TSX92 family particularly well-adapted for communications, I/V amplifiers for ADCs, and active filtering applications.
The TSX92 device rail-to-rail input and output capability, while operating on a wide supply voltage range of 4 V to 16 V, allows these devices to be used in a wide range of applications. Shutdown mode is available on the single (TSX920) and dual (TSX923) versions enabling an important current consumption reduction. The TSX92 family is available in SMD packages featuring a high level of integration. The DFN8 package, used in the TSX922, with a typical size of 2x2 mm and a maximum height of 0.8 mm offers even greater package size reduction.
