Comparators

The NXP family of NCX comparators provides a range of low voltage, ultra-low power devices for analog comparator applications such as cellular telephones, alarm and security systems, personal digital assistants and voltage monitoring systems. Ultra-low current requirements allow a large number of comparators to be used in a circuit for maximum granularity but with minimal impact on total power consumption and battery lifetime.

Analog Switches

NXP offers best in class low Ron analog switches that are suitable for a variety of analog and digital switching needs including audio, USB, power, video and data like WiFi, camera signal switching, baseband data switching, GPIO extension, data sample and hold circuits, and sensor data multiplexing. With low input thresholds at control inputs, NX3LXT, NX3VXT and NX3DV switches can be driven by low voltage controllers, eliminating the need for external level translation.

NXP's switches are offered in innovative PicoGate, MicroPak and leadless QFN packages for PCB space saving. These switches are specified from -40 °C to 125 °C, and are automotive qualified per AEC Q100 grade 1.

Logic Diamond Package

NXP continues to lead the logic industry with the world's smallest logic package!

NXP's Diamond package is over 25 percent smaller than our smallest XSON package (suffix GN), previously the world's smallest package. Yet, while this game-changing Diamond package is a tiny 0.8mm square by only 0.35mm high, its breakthrough design retains the traditional 0.5mm pad pitch which allows simplified PCB assembly.

Diamond, formally known as X2SON, is the next generation of MicroPak, also known as XSON. NXP's MicroPak has become the most-successful of the single-/dual-/triple-gate logic packages due to its many advantages. NXP's Diamond package benefits from many of the same advantages:
