Conec's sealed Mini-USB connectors for machine tool, automation, automotive and other extreme environment applications

Conec's Mini-USB 2.0 Type B watertight connectors are integrated into a black plastic housing with a bayonet locking feature for harsh environmental applications.

The quick-connect bayonet locking mechanism provides an audible and noticeable feedback to ensure the user that an IP67 watertight connection is made. No further mounting tool is required to make this simple, fast and robust connection.

The product line includes a panel receptacle which may be PCB-mounted or used with a flex circuit. The overall dimensions are compact and require only a 12 mm diameter panel cutout. The pre-terminated patch cables with an overmolded IP67 Mini USB Type B plug and an overmolded USB Type A plug are available in 2, 3 and 5 mm lengths. Protective covers are available to keep IP67 protection when not in use.

Conec offers a variety of circular connectors for industrial automation, food and beverage, and harsh environment applications

Conec's Sensor Actuator Line (SAL) series consists of overmolded cable assemblies, panel mounted plugs, and sockets with flying leads and field-attachable connectors in both axial and right angled configurations. The dimensions and construction of the Conec SAL series circular connectors comply with IEC 61076-2-101 standards, and the connectors are IP67- to IP69K-sealed for harsh environments. The M12 connector is available in 4 to 12 positions, the M8 is available in 3 and 4 positions, and the 7/8" is offered in 3, 4, and 5 positions. The M12 connector series is for BUS systems such as Profibus DP and 100 MHz Industrial Ethernet applications.

Field attachable connectors from Conec provide the freedom and flexibility to react to any cabling situation on site. Choose between shielded or un-shielded, straight or angled versions.

USB 2.0 - IP67 water resistant connector system for harsh environments

The Conec USB connector system series for harsh environments can be used for front or rear mounting on to a panel with a thickness up to 3.2 mm. The integrated USB connector meets USB 2.0 specifications. The connector system provides IP67 sealing performance when the connector halves are fully mated or the protection cap is secured.

Conec's solid body connector series is an advanced development of its water resistant D-SUB series. With its one-piece, solid body zinc die-cast housing, this robust design performs better to mechanical impacts during installation and operation and has less possible leakage paths. The series range is rated to IP67 and can be mated to standard D-SUB and high-density D-SUB connectors. This connector series can be used in application fields such as industrial machines, medical equipment, test and measurement, and communications where environmental protection is needed.

Conec's RJ45-IP67 industrial Ethernet connector system

Conec's RJ45 connector is the most used interface in data communications. In Ethernet networks, this proven connector assures quick, secure communications between all devices connected in a network. The Ethernet network technology has now been made "industry capable" as an Industrial Ethernet version. Naturally, this required some adaptation to different requirements and harsher environmental conditions. This applies equally to the connection technology employed. In addition to protection against ambient influences in a connected state, the handling aspects to make quick, reliable connections also plays an important role. Complex connections and assembly procedures are time consuming and, in a harsh environment, represent an increased risk for systems and equipment. For industrial real-time Ethernet, CONEC has developed a RJ45 connector type with a bayonet latching mechanism according to the IEC 61076-3-106 standard. This robust design with IP67 rating ensures reliable protection and easy connection under harsh environmental conditions.

Conec's Fiber-Optic LC ConnectorsConec, a manufacturer of high-quality connectors, has advanced its water-resistant series of connectors to include fiber-optic duplex LC connectors. The IP67-rated connectors allow designers to incorporate these data ports in harsh environments. Ideal for communications, such as FTTA (Fiber To The Antenna), security, and surveillance equipment applications, the connectors provide increased protection from contamination and moisture in addition to mechanical stability, temperature resistance, and vibration immunity.

The IP67-rated LC product family features a 1/6th turn bayonet coupling for fast and secure mate/unmate, even with gloved hands. To optimize chemical resistance, UV resistance, and tolerance to physical abuse, Conec offers these connectors in two different housing materials: black plastic and nickel-plated, zinc die-cast. All connectors are duplex LC type, in single-mode, multi-mode (OM1 and OM3), and APC types.
