AVX's GX series of capacitor was developed with the optical industry in mind. The tiny 0201 size, coupled with the low insertion loss, makes this an ideal capacitor for DC blocking applications. The GX series offers no resonance between 160 Khz to 40 Ghz.
Using AVX’s patented precision thin film termination process, the GX01 is designed to be completely orientation insensitive with a standard EIA 0201 footprint to minimize board space requirements. Both Ni/Sn and Ni/Au terminations are available to cover a wide range of attachment processes. Au terminated units are wire bondable. Users may, therefore, find these devices equally useful in bypass applications when wire bonding is a necessary part of the manufacturing process. |
