Powerex's version 6 DIPIPM™ simplifies the design of low-power inverters for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Standard features such as analog temperature output and built-in bootstrap diodes reduce the need for peripheral components, reducing overall system costs. By using the latest low-loss IGBT (7th generation CSTBT™), the product line-up has been expanded to suit a wider-range of applications. The design effort is minimized, as version 6 DIPIPM employs the same standard external packaging previously introduced for versions 4 and 5.
The 6.1 generation NX series IGBTs greatly simplify the design of medium-power inverters for various industrial applications. Features such as an industry-standard low-profile package, best-in-class thermal impedance, and very-low-loss 6.1 generation CSTBT™ silicon facilitate a very efficient, economical and robust inverter design. The NX series lineup has been expanded to include a 600 A, 1200 V dual-module to suit a higher-power range of applications. New design effort is minimized, as the 6.1 generation NX series employs the same standard packaging and features previously introduced for the 5th- and 6th-generation NX series.
