This presentation will introduce uses to the initial products in a family of 16- & 18-bit Beyond-The-Rail SAR ADCs available to the designer to provide easy-to-use solution for digitizing bipolar signals. It will explore in detail the advantages of Beyond-The-Rail technology that allows bipolar signals to be measured with a single positive voltage supply, saving the need for a negative voltage supply. Maxim offers an evaluation kit to help designers explore this technology along with easy to use GUI.
