Silicon Labs’ Si106x and Si108x wireless MCUs combine high-performance wireless connectivity and ultra-low-power microcontroller processing into a small 5 x 6 mm form-factor. The devices have been optimized to minimize energy consumption for battery-backed applications by minimizing TX, RX, active, and sleep-mode current, as well as supporting fast wake-up times. The Si106x and Si108x wireless MCUs are available in a pin-compatible family of devices that scales from 8 to 64 kB of Flash and support both the EZRadio and EZRadioPRO features set providing developers the ultimate in scalability.
Integration of MCU and radio lowers system size and cost. The Si106x and Si108x family of wireless MCUs integrates the MCU and RF into a single 5 x 6 mm QFN package, reducing both the system cost and size. It features integration of Silicon Labs' ultra-low-power 8051 MCU and latest sub-GHz radio into a single package.
