This series demonstrates excellent high-voltage handling capabilities and is used as a replacement for other high-capacitance components such as traditional MnO2 tantalum and aluminum electrolytic capacitors.

The use of a tantalum anode provides the highest-energy dense capacitor solution in the world that remains stable across all voltages, temperatures and time. The polymer cathode system allows for extremely low-ESR, high-ripple current handling, and a safe failure mode.

The T521 series can be safely operated for continuous duty at 90% of the rated voltage and can withstand transient conditions up to the rated voltage of the component. This series is ideally suited for high-efficiency power supplies, high-reliability applications, space or weight restricted applications, outdoor environments, and any other application that desires a compact design, high-performance, and nearly unlimited life expectance.
