CUI's VQA DC-DC converter series is designed to power IGBT gate drivers

CUI's DC-DC ConvertersCUI Inc. presents their line of board-mount DC-DC converters for IGBT gate drivers. Devices in the VQA series provide short-circuit protection with 3,000 VAC input-to-output isolation (4,242 VDC), and are ideally-suited to provide a fully-isolated gate drive for both industrial and clean-energy applications, such as wind turbines and solar panels.

The VQA series of DC-DC converters operates efficiently at high frequencies (approximately 20 kHz) over an industrial-operating temperature range of -40°C to about 85°C and come in a compact, internally-potted, 8-pin SIP case measuring 19.5 x 9.8 x 12.5 mm.
