Semiconductors

Integrated circuits with ultra-low phase noise in various input and output types are key to the performance of many next-generation applications. CTS serves the global communications market by providing a group of integrated circuits with excellent frequency control solutions. The semiconductors line consists of high-performance products such as:

  • Buffers and Dividers
    CTS offers a full line of buffers and dividers for phase noise reduction with LVPECL, Sine Wave or CMOS inputs and LVPECL or LVDS outputs. Phase noise is decreased to as low as -167 dBc/Hz and jitter down to 26 ƒs in some parts.
  • Capacitive Tuning Integrated Circuits
    CTS developed digitally-programmed capacitors specifically designed to tune a crystal or SAW-based oscillator to a desired center frequency. The desired capacitance value for production trimming is set by a serial data stream when placed into a programming mode. These Programmable Capacitive Tuning integrated circuits offer labor and cost-saving benefits within the oscillator production process.
  • PECL/ECL Logic
    CTS' portfolio of standard logic products from logic-level translators to Silicon Germanium (SiGe) receivers, CTS' logic products are of the highest performance and quality in the market today.
  • Cable Driver
    The CTS10EL89 is a differential fan-out gate specifically designed to drive coaxial cables. The device is especially useful in digital video applications. In such applications, each output can be used as an independent driver since the system is polarity-free.
