Image of Comchip Technology's Z4DGP4 Series Bridge RectifiersComchip’s new Z4DGP4 series bridge rectifiers have a forward current of 4.0 A and reverse voltage of 600 V, 800 V, or 1000 V. The surface-mount Z4-D package is leadless, low profile, and ideal for high-speed surface-mount processes. It is 14% thinner than the standard package. The Z4DGP4 series features low power loss and high efficiency, and is capable of handling high currents. The parts are REACH and RoHS compliant and halogen- and lead-free. Inside the Z4-D package (10.5 x 8.1 x 1.4 mm) is a 4 A glass-passivated rectifier chip (GPRC) that offers stable and low reverse current to reduce thermal drift. The GPRC has a wide operating-junction temperature range of -55 to +175°C. The low forward voltage GPRC chip and the high thermal-performance package makes the Z4DGP4 bridge rectifiers more efficient than standard 4 A bridge rectifiers. The Z4-D package meets UL 94V-0 flammability classification. The terminals are matte-tin plated and solderable per MIL-STD-750, method 2026. High-temperature soldering guaranteed: 250°C/10 seconds.
