This new offering, named the "MT" series, is activated using a slight rocking motion by an operator’s finger or thumb. It is recommended for applications requiring a sealed, ergonomic electrical interface. Applications for the MT are found in a number of markets including marine, off-road, transportation, military, medical equipment, and security.

APEM's MT series is available in two or three positions in momentary and maintained functions. It is available in a single pole double throw configuration with an 11/16 threaded bushing and multiple electrical functions. The product is sold standard with a bright chrome finish and a matte black finish is available. It also comes standard with a black actuator, but other colors are available.

APEM’s MT series switches are rated for 3 Amps at 250VAC or 6 Amps at 125VAC with an expected mechanical life of 100,000 cycles. The MT is manufactured with silver, gold plated silver or gold plated brass contacts and are available with straight p.c. or solder lug terminals.
