Analog Devices' ADN4604 is a 16 × 16 asynchronous, protocol-agnostic, digital crosspoint switch, with 16 differential PECL-/CML-compatible inputs and 16 differential CML outputs. The ADN4605 is 40 × 40 with 40 differential PECL-/CML-compatible inputs and 40 differential programmable CML outputs. The ADN4612 is 12 × 12 with 12 differential PECL-/CML-compatible inputs and 12 differential CML outputs.
The ADN4604 and ADN4605 are optimized for nonreturn-to-zero (NRZ) signaling with data rates up to 4.25 Gbps per port, while the ADN4612 offers data rates up to 11.3 Gbps per port. Each port for ADN4604 offers a fixed level of input equalization and programmable output swing and output pre-emphasis. Each port for ADN4605 offers adjustable levels of input equalization, programmable output swing, and output pre-emphasis/de-emphasis. Each port for ADN4612 offers programmable input equalization, loss-of-signal detection, programmable output swing, and output pre-emphasis/de-emphasis.
