Multiple Conductor
A cable that contains more than one insulated wire conductor contained within a circular jacket. The cable may or may not contain a shield layer/layers.
Coaxial
A single center conductor wire enclosed in a dielectric material, surrounded by a outer conductive shield and all enclosed in a jacket material. Occasionally, this type of cable will have two or three conductors.
Modular, Flat Cable
A cable that contains more than one insulated wire conductor contained within a flat jacket. The cable may be left straight or formed into a spring like coil.
