More about Tensility 
Connect and activate: that's what our cable assemblies do. We love nothing more than to watch projects come to life with a cable that connects power or signal and enables an object to work in the real world. A cable assembly is often the final, simplest piece of an application, but it also is often the piece that makes the whole thing work.
The cable assemblies available through Digi-Key are made especially with this purpose in mind. Tensility offers variations of many standard dc cables, USB cables, DIN cables, and audio/video cables that fulfill the need to get a project moving. Though they are basic parts, customers should not have to worry about where to find them or how they work.
All of our cables are tested for shorts, mis-wires, continuity, cosmetics, and adherence to specification. We dislike problems as much as our customers do.
All products offered through Tensility are built-to-order, including those found within Digi-Key. As such, if something different is needed - a special length, a different termination, a change in connector—it is no problem to build exactly what is needed for a project.
Additionally, Tensility provides the wire and connector components of our cable assemblies, allowing for the maximum flexibility to our customers. We welcome custom requests on these parts, too.
Tensility is headquartered in Bend—the high desert, central part of Oregon surrounded by mountains and rivers. It is a beautiful, peaceful area that enables our employees to lead a positive, active, healthy lifestyle.
Formed in 2008, Tensility's original 54 cables were once a product line of CUI Inc.
We extend our excitement of "connect and activate" to the rest of our lives as well. We are actively involved in domestic violence intervention, children's programs, and other charities within our community.
