|FPCAP Aluminum Electrolytic Polymer Capacitors - Nichicon presents the FPCAP aluminum electrolytic polymer capacitors. Advances in the performance of electronic equipment over recent years have also resulted in demand for higher performance and greater reliability in capacitors. As the MPUs used in PCs become ever faster, the trend towards heavier power supply currents has lead to a requirement for capacitors with characteristics that include both large capacitance and high response (low resistance).
|Low-Profile Tantalum Series F98-U Case - The F98 series from Nichicon are frameless style tantalum electrolytic capacitors. Their unique TAB electrodes provide an advantageous structure for a low-profile design. In this type of construction, there is larger capacitance in the same size or the same capacitance in a smaller size relative to its counterparts in the standard resin-molded type tantalum construction. When comparing the two types, the frameless structure has twice the volume of the capacitor element.
