Heat is absorbed and dissipated through high-density heat exchangers equipped with air-ducted shrouds and brand name fans. The number of airflow paths required to operate is reduced when compared to traditional impingement flow TEAs. This product series is offered in air-to-air and direct-to-air heat transfer configurations.
|Thermobility Energy Harvesting Series - Thermobility™ from Laird Technologies is a new energy-harvesting technology that uses heat as a source of electricity for ultra-low-power wireless applications. The power generator uses innovative solid-state thin-film thermoelectric technology to convert waste heat into usable output DC voltage. The WPG-1 is a self-contained thin-film thermoelectric power generator that harvests waste heat and converts it to usable output DC power. Due to its compact size, output power generation and ability to regulate voltage this device is suitable for use in applications to power wireless sensors and wireless sensor networks.
|PR-59 Temperature Controller - Laird's PR-59 temperature controller is designed for reversible (cooling/heating) control of thermoelectric assemblies requiring precise temperature control accuracy. The controller not only regulates the temperature, but also features two programmable fan outputs, and an alarm output relay. The controller can be used as a stand-alone unit interface with RS-232 to read and control parameters and settings in real-time. Easy-to-use pc software is included for programming and visual review of output parameters.
|Tlam OptoTEC™ Series - Laird Technologies' Tlam OptoTEC™ series is a miniature thermoelectric module (TEM) that uses a thermally-conductive dielectric with copper exteriors as substrates.
