CTS Electrocomponents  CTS is a diversified company, serving a broad list of markets with a wide portfolio of products and services. CTS Electrocomponents designs and manufactures electro-mechanical components including variable resistors, position sensors, small engine throttle position sensors (SE-TPS), encoders, mini-joysticks, DIP switches, rotary switches, and custom made components. To better serve customers we have developed strong engineering and vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities. Major markets served include medical, industrial controls, communications, computer and electronic networking. CTS has produced variable resistors since 1921 when we launched our cost effective and stable carbon composition variable resistor product line. We were instrumental in lowering the cost of radio components. By 1941 CTS was the worlds’ largest producer of these products. Along with our standard line of products, the  Electrocomponents group continues to develop and produce customized components for our customers and remain a cornerstone of CTS today. Manufacturing sites are located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and Zhongshan City, China. Our Kaohsiung facility, established in 1967, is ISO/QS 9000 certified. Our China facility, established in 1998 and moved to Zhongshan in 2007 is ISO 9000/TS16949 certified. Both facilities also conform to environmental management requirements of ISO 14001.
